Responsibilities

The company has a stimulating opportunity in its Business, Financial & Investor Services practicearea focused on business development and account management.  The role requires the Senior Consultant to close/ win consulting deals; showcase our value proposition and generate new leads; ensure high quality deliverables; expand our reputation around our successful work in IPO; and build our presence further with PE firms, insurance companies, retail banks, and the public sector. 

 

Role Objectives

  • To generate and close sales relating to our consulting services to targeted clients within the Business & Financial services industries and Public Sectors, measured against defined monthly, quarterly and annual targets
  • To generate and maintain a continuous pipeline of viable opportunities that will generate such sales, measured against 30,60 and 90 day pipeline measurements
  • To generate such opportunities by being in constant communication with new and existing contacts in companies by all means possible (phone, email, social media)
  • To develop a sufficient understanding over time of the clients and the industry sectors that they are a part of
  • To collaborate with account executives on business development and refine our value proposition
  • To develop winning proposals, design project plans, manage projects for high quality delivery
  • To develop relationships with our core client base
  • To train and lead junior consulting team
  • To support F&S marketing initiatives
  • Conduct primary/ secondary research to support project fulfillment
  • Conduct financial modeling work as required

 

Experience Required

    • Proven professional services and consultative sales experience (5 years+), with a strong track record of success (new business development, project management consulting, team management, and relationship management)
    • Ability to meet and exceed set targets
    • Previous experience in strategy, consulting, corporate finance, investment banking, operations, marketing
    • Experience or interest and understanding within the Business & Financial services industry – specifically, transaction process and decision-making within Investment Banking, M&A/Corporate Finance advisory, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Asset Management, etc.

Competencies Expected

  • Strong research and consulting capabilities- primary/ secondary research with experience in B2B and B2C business models
  • Strong financial modeling skills
  • Strong analytical skill in translating research analysis to actionable recommendations/ strategic insights
  • Workshop skills- engaging with clients directly
  • Motivation to identify, generate, and close new business opportunities, grow existing accounts (up-selling and cross-selling solutions) and exceed targets
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to forge and maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external clients and the ability to target new business
  • Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills with complete fluency in the English language
  • Ability to work autonomously but also able to collaborate with local and global teams
  • Proven experience working with CRM tools as well as MS Office and social media platforms-ie Linked In and Zoom platforms
  • A consultative manner and an understanding of business to business service sales process/structure
  • Other European languages are advantageous, given that we work with clients globally

  • A degree level education or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree in business administration preferred
