This role requires a keen eye for business development, new client prospecting and structured discipline in generating demand & awareness about our products and services across assigned Industry verticals. This is a new business development role and is largely inside sales focussed.

Responsibilities

Role responsibilities

  • To generate qualified sales leads / opportunities for the sales team and achieve all specified key performance indicators.
  • Work alongside assigned Account Directors/ Vice President’s to support them with commercial campaigns and/or Business Development within their Account territory.
  • Conduct a range of new business development initiatives and deliver qualified sales leads
  • Strengthen the Frost & Sullivan brand with defined client organisations and the relevant industry sector /client types
  • Support existing clients in maximising value creation from our services that they have access to.
  • Client prospecting via Networking, Online and Secondary Sources

  • Be completely comfortable, unafraid, and happy to target from scratch persons of interest to the organization through any communication means as appropriate.
  • Strong work ethics, adherence to KPI’s and delivering results.

 

Relevant /Useful Experience of Use:

  • Previous sales experience in would be an advantage , particularly if in a B2B environment
  • Previous experience of market research or consulting an advantage industry
  • Use of excellent verbal and written communication style, with a creative and innovative flair
  • The ability to generate sales leads/opportunities via a proactive telesales approach
  • Reporting accurate sales activity metrics when required
  • Able to work autonomously in-line with the achievement of specific individual objectives
  • Ability to develop strong internal and external working relationships.
  • Strong organisational skills
  • The ability to create demand and awareness of the Frost & Sullivan brand and services
  • Influencing skills, with a confident, proactive and methodical approach.

Qualifications

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience of Use:

  • Proven business to business services based sales /customer service experience would be an advantage
  • Good understanding of /interest in the business environment
  • Some experience of proactive/direct external client contact and exposure to a professional / fast paced business environment
  • Previous experience in gathering business relevant information and generating client interest from a telesales approach
  • A consultative manner and an understanding of business to business service sales process/structure
  • Degree Qualification; Masters in Business Administration is desirable.
