Frost & Sullivan is looking to enhance our London or Oxford team with the addition of an Account Manager. The company has a stimulating opportunity in the Chemicals, Materials and Nutrition area of the business revolving around business development. The role requires the Account Manager to generate demand and awareness of our products across a broad portfolio of clients in Europe and to provide Frost & Sullivan’s international client base with Business and Market Intelligence solutions and bespoke Consulting services.

Responsibilities

  • To generate and close sales of all of our service lines to targeted clients in defined industry and sector areas, measured against defined monthly, quarterly and annual targets
  • To generate and maintain a continuous pipeline of opportunities that will generate such sales, measured against 30,60 and 90 day pipeline measurements
  • To generate such opportunities by being in constant communication with new and existing contacts in companies by all means possible (phone, email, social media)
  • To develop a sufficient understanding over time of the clients and the industry sectors that they are a part of
  • The motivations to identify, generate, and exploit new business opportunities and nurture existing accounts (up selling and cross selling of deliverables)
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to forge and maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external clients and the ability to target new business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with complete fluency in the English language
  • Ability to work autonomously but also able to collaborate with local and global teams
  • Proven experience working with CRM tools as well as MS Office and social media platforms
  • A consultative manner and an understanding of business to business service sales process/structure
  • Other European Languages an advantage as we work internationally continuously

Qualifications

  • A degree level education or equivalent experience and professional sales training would be a distinct advantage
  • Proven professional services and consultative sales experience, with a strong track record of success (new business development & relationship management)
  • Strong CRM discipline, the ability to accurately maintain and forecast 30-60-90 pipeline
  • Ability to meet and exceed set targets
  • Previous experience of gathering business relevant information and generating client interest from a telesales approach
